Die juristischen Auflagen sind auf eine Einstweilige Verfügung des Mitbewerbers Vodafone D2 zurückzuführen, der im Rennen um den Vertrieb des Apple iPhone in Deutschland gegen T-Mobile unterlag. T-Mobile wird dieser Verpflichtung bis zur gerichtlichen Klärung nachkommen. Das ohne gleichzeitigen Abschluss eines T-Mobile Mobilfunkvertrages angebotene Telefon ist zum Preis von 999 Euro in allen Telekom Shops erhältlich, die das Apple iPhone verkaufen.
